Evvviiilll!

A war is being waged. A war between good and evil. The left side of my face has crossed over to the dark side this week and is completely red, splotchy and broken out. The right side is clear and smooth. A person looking at the right side of the my face would never know the havoc that was being wreaked on the left side.

My grandmother used to tell my mom that it was the evil inside her bubbling to the surface. I guess I have a lot of evil to get out this month.

I miss my mommy

As of late, Rhymewithorange has been neglected. I know, I know. I keep making excuses, but well...you know. Things happen. Husbands are deployed, mommies go home and kittens go into their first heats.

Oh my gosh, it's a miracle that i didn't kill her. And I think I'm bad when I PMS. Dang. Between the howling, eating three cans of food per day, and acting like the neighborhood kitty white-trash, Pip had a very busy week last week. They'd better call soon to get her in to be fixed. SOON. Or I'm feeding her Midol. And she WILL LIKE IT.

Piper, if you're reading this, I want my needle back.

Sorry about the lack of cheerful posting this week. This week has been not so great. I've just been really down. I need a hug. Today was better than the other days. My neighbor lent me the whole first season of Will & Grace, I got talk to Mike, I finally got my pasta order correct, and Pip has been snugly (Who can be sad when they have a purring kitten under their chin?)

Knitting has been done this week. There is progress! The pretty llama's sweater is almost done (It will be as soon as I find my other size 13 double point needle that she-who-shall-remain-nameless-but-is-white-&-furry stole.); I made another baby hat; I am half way done with a gorgeous scarf I'm making out of the Sari Silk my mom sent me; and I started making a baby blanket. Except I'm crocheting it because, while I LOVE to knit, it would take way too long (For me anyway. I'm not the fastest knitter). We shall not speak of the sock though. It is sitting in time out THINKING ABOUT WHAT IT DID. I'll post pictures soon. Of the good knitting.

The other day, the movie The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants finally arrived at the video store. Mike came home in the middle of me watching it. This was roughly how our conversation went:

"Why are you crying?!"
"The pants! She got the pants!"
"Pants? Who's pants?"
"Carmen! She got the pants in the mail finally!"
"Why were her pants in the mail??"
"Because Tibby had them."
"Who's Tibby?"
"Shhhhh! Bailey's sick." *Bursts into tears again*

I'm pretty sure he still doesn't understand the movie plotline. Poor guy. (I love you baby :)
